Full Charge Bookkeeper

ECN Staffing Inc. is a growing business among a conglomerate of several businesses in Hazleton, PA. We are professional and fast-paced. Our goal is to provide area employers with competent and reliable staffing in their manufacturing or agricultural environments. .

- Generate financial reports, such as balance sheets, cash flow statements and income statements
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the company
- Process and record financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and distribute invoices to clients
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and file tax documents, including sales tax and payroll tax
- Demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (GAAP)
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks) and MS Office Suite
- Experience with bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation
- Familiarity with corporate accounting procedures and general ledger accounting
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $42,000 - $45,000 annually 

Expected hours: 40 per week
