Bookkeeper

```Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of GAAP principles and is proficient in Quickbooks.

Duties:

- Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements and general ledger accounts

- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions

- Manage payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee wages and benefits

- Assist with tax preparation and filing

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations

- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update the general ledger

- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping to record debits and credits accurately

- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes

- Stay updated on technical accounting standards and changes in tax laws

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and corporate accounting practices

- Proficient in using Quickbooks

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical skills for account analysis and reconciliation

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
