Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform monthly general ledger reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits
- Utilize accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data
- Stay updated on financial concepts, regulations, and best practices in the field
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (experience with Sedona Office is a plus)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
-QBO ProAdvisor or other certifications is a plus
Education:
-Minimum of a high school diploma
- Associate or Bachelor degree in finance or accounting is a plus

Salary: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
