Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant

Are you a person always helping others? Are you detail-oriented and professional? Does health care interest you? Our practice is looking for an energetic, friendly and compassionate Front Desk receptionist. The right candidate should be punctual with an exceptional attendance record.
Job Responsibilities

• Greet patients as soon as they enter with a warm and inviting demeanor.
• Collect information from patients, including insurance information, money for copays and contact information.
• Answer the telephone and redirect calls to the appropriate staff member, and respond to voicemails in a timely manner.
• Assist doctors with responding to correspondence, including email and physical letters.
• Maintain medical record database to ensure patient information is kept up to date, and provide patient information to other doctor offices when a patient decides to switch providers.
• Perform additional administrative functions when needed.Job Skills & QualificationsReqiured:
• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience answering phones
• Able to maintain the confidentiality of private information
• Friendly demeanor and positive attitude
• Basic knowledge of standard medical terminologyPreferred:
• Pursuing a degree related to the medical field
• Proficient computer skills

Full Time Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
