Experience Preferred:
- Experience in a customer service or receptionist role.
- Experience in a dental or orthodontic office.
- Insurance benefit determination and claims filing.
Responsibilities:
- Above all else, provide courteous service to patients and their families, smile, greet everyone warmly, act as if each patient is a guest, and you are glad to have them in our office.
- Make immediate eye contact with each individual upon their entry to the office.
- Promptly answer phone calls and address the caller's needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Seek solutions to all challenges.
- Schedule patients' follow-up appointments.
- Handle billing questions and paperwork for new patients.
- Communicate billing arrangements.
- Accept payments.
- Promptly document communications with a patient or family member in the patient's chart.
- Understand and take appropriate actions under HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate with other dental offices regarding treatment of mutual patients.
- Assist the Financial/Insurance Coordinator with routine duties such as phone call reminders.
Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Effective time management.
- Assisting with end of day duties.
- Comprehensive office cleaning (including windows, floors, counters, bathrooms, break room, lab, etc).
- Promoting the practice by demonstrating a positive attitude towards teammates and patients/families, building connections with patients, instilling confidence in our patients that they have made an excellent choice to have treatment with us.
- Representing the office favorably in public and/or on social media.
- Participating in occasional marketing events, which may be on weeknights or weekends.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
