Beaux Mondes Salon and Spa is seeking a professional, friendly receptionist to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our clients and guests. An ideal candidate has a flexible work schedule during the salon’s hours of operation (Monday - Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am- 5pm, Saturday 8am-4pm). Key responsibilities include: greeting guests when they arrive, ensuring clients are comfortable within the salon atmosphere, answering and transferring phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing the point of sale system and cash drawer. Requirements of the candidate: high school diploma or equivalent, professional demeanor, two years of relevant work experience, familiarity with point of sale systems and basic office software (Microsoft, Google Docs and Google Sheers), and ability to operate iPads, scanners, copiers, and printers.
Preferred qualifications include: attention to detail, strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service skills, and experience in a salon environment.
Job Responsibilities:
*Answering and directing all phone calls
*Answering client emails
*Greeting all salon guests
*Managing, cleaning, and organizing the Front Desk and lobby
*Scheduling client appointments
*Recording and paying out employee tips
*Making copies of waivers and client questionnaires
*Stocking the Front Desk with supplies
*Filing forms and documents
*Checking-in, sorting, and taking inventory of received orders
*Providing administrative support to all team members as necessary
*Answering questions
*Assisting in decorating the salon for holidays
*Providing occasional tours of the salon
*Supporting the owner and Front Desk manager
