JOB SUMMARY
The Executive Assistant role is responsible for handling the administrative tasks on behalf of the Executive Management team that includes but is not limited to managing executive appointments, responding to inquiries, sorting documents, coordinating travel, and providing overall support to executive team members.

POSITION SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments, managing and organizing electronic files, paper files, and library both books and CD's
- Completes monthly expense reports
- Composes and prepares correspondence that is confidential and arranges complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas
- Possesses the ability to interact with council members and staff on behalf of the executive team as needed
- Works closely with executive management team to keep them well informed of upcoming commitments and has the ability to determine the level of prioritization of requests that come in for time with the team
- Manage special projects as needed
- Edits and completes first drafts for written communication to be sent out from executive team members as needed
- Must be highly organized and be able to successfully function in a fast-moving environment and the ability to keep information confidential
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Four year degree/ education or equivalent in related discipline, preferred.
- At least 5 years' administrative support experience, preferred.
- Specialized training and/or experience as related to areas of essential function, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position operated in a professional office environment but may require the following physical demands: general lifting of materials up to 20 pounds, bending kneeling, carrying, walking, and using hands/fingers to handle items. May include days where hours sitting at a computer are needed. Ability to acclimate to weather for outdoor events as needed.
