HYBRID- 3 DAYS IN OFFICE REQUIRED
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive Assistant to the CEO has broad administrative responsibility to support the CEO and will work closely with the organization's board chair and its board of directors. The ideal candidate will be an extremely professional and experienced EA who can manage a demanding workload and prioritize multiple competing priorities. This position will maintain high-level contacts inside and outside the organization. The EA supports the CEO and coordinates with the FRD team in fundraising activities and is responsible for inputting data into the organization's donor system and appropriate correspondence. The EA also works closely with FJC's Office Manager and provides backup support for reception and office management functions. This position is based in our New York office (3 days a week) and will report to the CEO.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, and transportation.
- Schedule and manage the CEO's calendar this includes arranging internal and external meetings and conference calls, maintaining regular schedule of board-related meetings, and supporting and coordinating other executive calendars as needed.
- Draft and prepare correspondence including letters, memoranda, minutes also prepare presentations.
- Collect and prepare information for use in discussions/meetings of executive staff, board of directors and outside individuals.
- Interact closely with FJC's board chair and board of directors and coordinate all aspects of the semi-annual in-person board of directors' meetings (note: these meetings are frequently held outside of the NY area and incumbent is expected to travel and attend board meetings)
- As a member of FJC's fundraising team, support fundraising efforts, input and update data into Salesforce, and utilize systems to derive donor information for CEO's use.
- Set up and maintain accurate filing systems, both physical and virtual.
- Provide backup support for Office Manager.
- Work on projects and other duties as assigned.
CREDENTIALS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience in similar high-level administrative position.
- Prior experience in a Jewish non-profit organization strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently, but with good judgment to know when to involve others or ask for guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to manage highly sensitive and confidential information. Discretion is of utmost importance in this position.

COMPENSATION DETAILS
The salary range for this position is $75,000-$95,000. FJC offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401k; Company-paid Group Medical Bridge plan that provides additional out-of-pocket coverage for a variety of medical services; 15 days paid vacation annually; paid parental leave; early closure on Fridays; and office closure for all major Jewish and secular holidays.
