Position Summary
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support for Longboard’s CMO and the Medical Office team. The group of professionals within the Medical Office are embedded in a fun, fast-paced environment that is driven by a passion to make a difference.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Provides general administrative and office support
- Assist with overall office administration
- Manages complex calendars and scheduling for internal and external meetings
- Prepares and manages expense reports
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements
- Creates and edits documents, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Assists with planning and tracking departmental budgets
- Handles details of a highly confidential and critical nature
- Implements practices to increase productivity and manages interdepartmental communications
- Assist in maintaining the department's organization and culture
- Manages ad hoc projects as assigned
- Ability to be in the office 4 to 5 days a week
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in an office setting with a minimum of 5+ years as an Executive Administrative Assistant required
- Ambitious self-starter who is highly skilled in leading office operations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Ability to work with and support a multi-geographic virtual team across various time zones
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Exceptional listening, observational, and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional time-management abilities and strong follow-through skills required
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling a wide range of administrative tasks with some supervision or oversite required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly, team-oriented, collaborative, and “can-do” attitude
- Intermediate-to-advanced computer and MS Office skills (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Experience with SharePoint and conference equipment/platforms is highly preferred

Pay Transparency
The expected salary for candidates who work in La, Jolla, CA is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Longboard Pharmaceuticals, Inc is a multi-state employer and will consider candidates based in remote work locations.
