SalaryWe are a small, friendly Immigration law firm looking for a self motivated Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management. You will provide a broad spectrum of administrative duties under the supervision of our office manager. An ideal candidate must be highly motivated, dynamic, willing to learn, and a team player who enjoys working in a fast paced position.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support and enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communication with clients, witnesses, etc.
- Conduct investigations and statistical/documentary research
- Locate and develop case relevant information
- Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain contact lists
- Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
- Ability to understand billing guidelines, such as sending reminder messages, tracking payments, collections, etc.
- Identify billing discrepancies
- Collect Intake information
- Execute Initial Cases Assessments
Skills
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
