The Development Coordinatoris responsible for and other administrative support to the Development team. This role involves project management, handling intricate and confidential information of donors and supporters of the museums, and overseeing the daily department operations which include managing correspondence and inputting donations for processing.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Development department, including scheduling and organizing meetings, preparing meeting materials, and assisting in assembling solicitation materials.
- Receive, process, and manage all Development mail, ensuring accurate gift entry and collaboration with Data Information Services and Accounting to resolve discrepancies.
- Manage donor and supporter correspondence by creating and assigning cases in Salesforce, as well as handling physical mail distribution.
- Coordinate acknowledgement letter mailings for all gifts.
- Assist the Associate Director, Strategy and Operations in executing department-wide projects.
- Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance efficiency in administrative and project systems.
- Oversee the quarterly office supply order and coordinate department retreats in collaboration with the Chief Philanthropy Officer and Associate Director, Strategy and Operations.
- Facilitate team-bonding activities, such as distributing birthday cards and organizing celebratory gatherings.
- Coordinate the ordering and distribution of department exhibition catalogues, VIP tickets, and office supplies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in administrative support. Development or marketing experience preferred. Work experience in a museum or similar institution is preferred.

- Proficiency in G Suite / Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with databases, preferably Salesforce. Ability to work on the computer on a continuous basis.

The starting rate for this role is $29.93 per hour. This rate is step 1 of a 7 step union pay scale.
This Union role is eligible for the Museums' benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plus a generous time off package.
