Job Summary
Bombshell Sportswear is seeking an enthusiastic full time Product Development Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Bombshell Sportswear designs, produces and sells activewear apparel which is produced in Los Angeles and sold exclusively online direct to consumers.
You will be supporting the Product Development process to efficiently and accurately develop first through approved fit samples for domestic production. Working with a highly experienced and awesome team, you will build your skill set and be challenged and inspired to be your best. We need someone who is agile and has a "whatever it takes'' attitude. You must be without an ego and eager to assist internal teams wherever asked to create incredible products & contribute to the organization's success.
Job Responsibilities
- Support and assist the design and Product Development/technical teams
- Update Development WIP as necessary
- Initiate sample cut ticket for development fit samples following designer’s direction
- Aid in reviewing each sample against BOM and pattern card to be sure workmanship, quality, correct components and construction were executed
- Spec samples with guidance from Product Development/technical team
- Organize, track and tag development fit samples
- Photoshoot sample organization, branding & preparation for photoshoot
- Attend fit sessions and facilitate note taking
- Travel to downtown contractors to pick-up and drop-off of patterns, markers and lab dips
- Travel to fabric and trim suppliers and help source from new and existing suppliers
- Create PO’s to contractors and suppliers related to sourcing and sample development
- Provide real time updates to development CAD’s and linesheets
- Work alongside designer to prepare initial development sketches
- Flexibility to work cross-functionally when needed
Essential Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience of entry level or assistant to design and/or Product Development in apparel, ideally activewear or lingerie
- Experience working with contractors for U.S. Product Development is a plus
- Must have experience with garment construction, specs, fabric, sourcing and tech paks
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Advanced knowledge of Google sheets
- General experience working with multiple fabrications, but primary stretch fabrics

- Strives to help and support the team wherever it is needed, seeking to fill the gap
- Ability to work full time at downtown LA office
- Ability to drive to suppliers and contractors in downtown LA

The compensation for this full-time in office position in the US is $70,000 - $90,000 annually. The range may vary based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. The compensation information listed in job postings only includes the base compensation.
