Desktop/Network Support Technician

Responsibilities:
Proven experience as a Desktop Support Technician or similar role
Identifying hardware (physical network equipment i.e. switches, Enterprise Wifi and firewall) and software solutions.
Troubleshooting technical issues with local desktop and Cloud enivornment.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Office365 / Azure resources.
Installing and configuring hardware and software.
Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
Speaking to customers to quickly get to the root of their problem.
Providing timely and accurate customer feedback.
Talking customers through a series of actions to resolve a problem.
Following up with clients to ensure the problem is resolved.

Qualifications:
- IT experience (Active Directory / O365): 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Able to drive to onsite clients: 20%-50% of time at client sites in Jacksonville area (50% remote)
- Fluent in English, valid Driver’s License
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education / Experience:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Home Office Requirements:
Astute provides you a laptop and monitor. The computer contains a built-in webcam that is required to be used for training and meetings.
You must have a secure, quiet, distraction-free work environment without any conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled work shift. (Conflicting responsibilities may include caring for a family member)

Your home office must have a DSL, Fiber, or Cable Internet that is hardwired into a modem/router via Ethernet or wireless.
Minimum download speed 20 Mbps Minimum upload speed 10 Mbps
