Job Summary: Provide efficient first line of IT support for end-users of the Enterprise.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide first level support for the IT helpdesk and provide resolutions to end-user issues
- Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to find resolutions
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support
- Track, route and redirect issues per established policies and procedures
- Utilize excellent customer service skills to minimize end-user downtime
- Respond to issues in a timely and efficient manner
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent job experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Working knowledge of help desk software, remote control and fundamental operations of relevant hardware and other equipment
- Proven working experience in providing help desk support
- Strong Microsoft Office skills along with server, desktop
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
Skills and Abilities:
- Troubleshooting computer hardware and software
- Printing (local and remote)
- VPN setup and operation (client and server)
- Outlook/Office 365 Configuration
- Strong understanding in area of Technical Support
Physical Requirements:
- Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.
- Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.
- May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
