DATA SUPPORT MANAGER ROLE
Responsibilities:
· The Data Support Manager (DSM) supports the planning, development, and implementation of Pride Center of Maryland (PCOM) data management systems to track program activity, participation rates, and demographics and measure outcomes
· Responsibilities will include data system maintenance, data quality assurance, staff training, report building and production., and technical support
· The Data Support Manager assists in the management and/or use of applications used to build and create custom reports from raw data
· As a member of the PCOM team, the Data Support Manager will assist in training and providing ongoing support to staff on the data management system applications and in monitoring and maintaining the quality and timelines of the data. The Data Support Manager reports to the Senior Director of Programs and Compliance
· Administer, configure, and maintain the PCOM reporting system
· Develop and implement data management policies, procedures, and best practices
· Monitor database/system performance and optimize for efficiency and reliability
· Ensure data security, compliance, and privacy standards are upheld
· Establish and enforce data quality standards to maintain accurate and reliable project records
· Regularly audit and clean data to resolve inconsistencies and errors
· Collaborate with team members to identify data-related challenges and implement solutions
· Act as the primary point of contact for reporting system -related inquiries and issues
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly
Reporting and Analysis
· Create and generate reports and dashboards to track resident services outcomes and effectiveness
· Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
· Present findings and recommendations to senior management
· Work closely with the PCOM team to understand their data needs and requirements
· Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization
Qualifications:
· Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices
· Ability to coordinate and consolidate reports from a Program Managers
· Knowledge of demographic data and measurement techniques
· Experience visually representing data and producing interactive data tools or reports
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating data for non-technical audiences
· Adaptable and collaborative, with an ability to assess data reporting needs and systems and transition to new platforms as applicable
· Experience working with diverse, multi-functional teams, virtually or in-person
· Excellent critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
· Ability to successfully work on multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
· Curiosity, desire for self-improvement, passion for social equity, and excitement about sharing new skills and knowledge
Benefits
The base compensation for this role is the equivalent of $65,000 - 70,000/year depending on level of skills and experience
