We are searching for a Desktop Support Technician for an established client. You will start off as a contractor and convert to a full-time employee with the client after 6 months. You should have at least 2+ years of professional Desktop Support experience.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional Desktop Support experience.
- Knowledge of Windows and MacOS.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
- Detail oriented, ability to take direction and work independently.
- Experience with setup and configuration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory Administration, Application Support and Administration.
- Understanding TCP/IP Networking, Wireless networks, Remote-access, and site-to-site VPN.
Essential Duties
- Review support tickets and resolve in a timely manner.
- Repair desktops, laptops, workstations, hardware, etc. as needed.
- Managing switches, routers, and firewalls
- Anti-virus administration and malware remediation.
- Perform backup and recovery on software and devices.
- Analyze Service Desk calls for Desktop Devices and incident data to identify and advise Customer of any potential user training requirement.
- Ensure that each Desktop Device is installed with the appropriate Desktop image.
Education:
- Associate degree in a related field. Certifications are a plus.
