Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Northeast Philadelphia pediatric dental office looking for a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. 5-day work week, with 1 evening per week. No weekends.

We are a single doctor practice with tight knit team that has been serving the community for over 30 years. We offer competitive wages with 401K match, health insurance, uniform allowance, paid holidays and personal time off.

The ideal candidate is hard working, detail-oriented, reliable, professional, a quick learner and team player, has positive personality and able to communicate well with both patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and checking in patients
• Scheduling patient for new and follow up appointments
• Confirming appointments and answering phone calls
• Providing insurance coverage estimates and verification of coverage
• Collecting payments, co-payments and deductibles
• Filing and following up with insurance claims, and submitting pre-authorizations to insurance companies
• Pulling patient charts for upcoming appointments
• Maintaining and keeping clinical records in order
• Assisting with explaining treatment plans
• Maintaining a clean and professional office environment

Skills / Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Good computer skills
• Experience working in dental / medical office and with dental management software (Preferred)
• Speaking a foreign language (Spanish) is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
