SalaryA Therapeutic Effect, a natural health and wellness center in Mountville, is seeking a highly organized and qualified individual to assist with our Front Desk operations. The position is fast-paced and requires the ability to multitask efficiently. If you have strong communication skills and enjoy providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities include:
● Demonstrating a friendly, outgoing, and cooperative attitude while maintaining highest levels of customer service
● Utilize software to manage client check-in, payment collection, appointment scheduling, maintaining client files, and check-out
● Answering the phone and effectively communicating
● Assisting with insurance verifications and billing
● Filing and data entry
● Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
● Willingness to cross-train for other job functions as needed
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualifications:
● A minimum of one year of customer service or office/clerical work in a medical office preferred (i.e., dentist, chiropractic, PT, dermatology, or other doctor’s offices)
● Experience with insurance verifications and familiarity with insurance billing practices
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● A responsible team player with the ability to see a task through completion, including follow up as needed
● Proficient keyboarding and computer skills needed
● Problem solving skills
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to effectively work individually and within a team while in a fast-paced environment
● Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
● An interest in holistic healthcare
Hours needed:
● Monday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
● Tuesday 12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
● Thursday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
