Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in our medical office.

Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary paperwork
- Maintain patient records and update medical information as needed
- Assist with medical billing and insurance claims processing
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is required
- Proficient in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and office procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
