Roles and Responsibilities:
Description:
In this role, you will be responsible to anticipate the upcoming schedule requirements and manage the HMI area to best utilize the area. With direction from the department lead and manager as required.
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
- Unpacking and the set-up of the computers, network switches, monitors, network cabinets and accessory for system testing. Using appropriate engineering documents.
- Setting up local computer network: assigning IP addresses preparing software to a functional state. Using appropriate engineering documents.
- Repacking and inventory of computer equipment to project BOM and take to QA and Shipping.
- Reconfiguring computer internal hardware, as in dis-assembly of computers and the re-assembly of the computers.
- Building Virtual Machine software for Cyber Servers.
- Testing of computer system to Engineering and Customer specifications.
- Performing quality control inspection of work and products during testing and completion of test.
Quality Expectations:
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3 months of working experience in Manufacturing or Computer/Digital technology.
- Basic computer skills and familiar with software applications such as Cyber VMware, McAfee, Acronis, Kiwi CatTools, Ivanti, Remote Desktop, Windows.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical / Associate Degree in computer technology or similar technical area.
- 1 year of relevant experience in building virtual machine and/or configuring computers.
- Have experience using /reading technical drawings, schematics.
- Be able to communicate effectively by giving and receiving information verbal and written for a variety of circumstances.
- Attention to detail.
The hourly pay range for this position is $26.50 -$27.50 hr. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
This role is expected to close from the career site on 1/30/24 or when a suitable candidate is identified.
