Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative delivers world-class service to all retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The associate expertly advises our valued customer by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing our best practices related to the industry.

The ideal candidate has previous sales or Customer Service experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. Candidate must be a fast learner who makes an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest time possible. Candidate must be willing to work independently and with others. Candidate must be available Evenings and Weekends. In addition, looking for a candidate that is interested in long term employment, that can pass a background check and willing to become a Notary Public and a Fingerprint Technician.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding Customer Service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS store team members.
• Take ownership of the customer's shipping needs and offer viable solutions.
• Take actions to learn all product/service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operate equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and willing to teach others.
• Package shipments for safe arrival including custom box building and cushioning contents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass a background check.
• Retail/Customer Service experience
• Good communication and people skills
• Sales oriented with the ability to up/cross sell products and services
• Prompt, reliable and hardworking
• Able to lift 40+ pounds
• Strong computer and internet skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
