Flexible AM Part Time Front Desk (Medical)

Position: Medical Billing and Receptionist opportunity. More hours available depending on skill/ability to take on more.

Part time : M-F Part Time or just Tuesdays and Thursdays even.

Job Summary:

Main goal is to perform basic reception duties to ensure accurate patient account creation, maintenance, scheduling, and initiate and monitor patient flow throughout the wellness center.

Possibly perform Medical Billing, EOB postings, and Patient/Insurance AR's.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or GED
Special Skills : Knowledge of insurances, clinic policies and procedures. Able to operate basic office equipment such as telephones, computers, copy and fax machines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to examine documents for accuracy, completeness and upload in patient records. Verify demographics, insurance and co-payment information. Display the ability to input data regarding patients with accuracy. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with co-workers under stressful situations. Provide communication to patients regarding appointments in a timely manner. Effective communication with practitioners, patients, public and co-workers is required. Basic understanding of medical terminology.
Experience: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for minimum experience requirement.
