Job Description
One of the world's largest lithium-ion battery manufacturers is seeking Customer Service Specialists to join their growing team in Irvine! We are looking for battery, solar or EV (electric vehicle) backgrounds.
As a Customer Service Specialist II you will be responsible for daily Customer Service activities for existing and future business. You will have an understanding of handling manufacturer product warranties and RMAs within a B2B and B2C environment. You will identify clients' needs, generate solutions and respond to customer requests in a timely manner. You will have adequate time management skills, good writing and communication skills within a fast-paced, team-oriented, international business environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide professional and customer focused phone support for B2B and B2C within an inbound/outbound call center environment.
Multi-tasking while taking calls - actively update CRM, ECS, and Excel documents.
Accurate and timely RMA follow-up.
Be an avid troubleshooter to solve customer issues within the first call while maintaining a calm and collective demeanor with challenging calls.
Reviewing photos, detailed information, & confirming error code accuracy.
Approve RMA and coordinate with internal team, partners, and contractors to fully satisfy customers.
Work together as a team, providing timely and excellent Customer Service.
Be a brand expert and knowledgeable about the product - Develop an understanding of the residential battery market, including key markets, competitors, and technologies. Become familiar with battery systems and the main elements of an integrated energy storage system.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working in a B2B/B2C Customer Service call center within the residential solar, EV (electric vehicle) industry, or experience in battery products.
Ability to troubleshoot and adhere to business-critical deadlines and dedicated with an ethical approach to company standards.
Good communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation.
Advanced in Microsoft Excel; experience in CRM (Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, Hubspot) preferred
Location: Irvine, CA
Schedule: Must be able to work 8 hour shift between 6am and 6pm
Compensation: $20 + per hour depending on related experience
