Position Requirements:
- AT LEAST 1 year experience in Customer Service oreducation combination
- Working knowledge of purchase orders from start to finish
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Self-Motivated and highly results-oriented
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to learn and retain a large volume of different products and services
- Detail Oriented
- Solid reading comprehension and information retention
Preferred Experience:
- Metal fabrication, factory or warehouse setting experience
- 2-3 years experience with data entry and purchase orders
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and solve customer issues or needs on inbound requests.
- Part number creation in system.
- Ownership of purchase order entire life cycle.
- Entry Level order entry/updates and system navigation.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Develop a basic understanding of our plating processes and what is required for every order.
- Provide reactive communication(s) to our customers with the ability to log and update customer information in our Enterprise Resource Planning system and Customer Relations Management software to maintain data integrity.
- Answer phone calls, chats, emails and all other inbound customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner striving to provide a first contact resolution.
- Log opportunities, customer interactions and update customer information in Customer Relations Management to maintain data integrity.
- Participate in continual training and development (internal processes & software, product and application knowledge, sales process and outcomes, and industry-based training).
- Provide an extraordinary experience to all internal and external customers.
- Update written procedures as directed; offer solutions and ideas for improvements.
- Maintain team email box.
- Help the team hit monthly revenue goals provided by management.
- Support the internal sales and business development teams with order entry.
- Share information with team leads, team and other departments, following company policies and values, balancing short- and long-term goals, and resolving customer issues when necessary.
- Meet all team deadlines and responsibilities.
- Maintain minimum quality scores and activity levels required of the position.

Work Environment
Production and shop floor areas can be very humid during certain times of the year. Employees are provided training and personal protective equipment when working around chemicals, dust, and fumes. Safety and Environmental systems are in place to meet or exceed requirements from EPA and OSHA. We have active cross functional safety and continuous improvement teams. All team members will be exposed to the shop floor environment on occasion. Normal shop environment may require the use of hearing protection, safety glasses, ANSI approved safety-toe footwear as well as other personal protective gear as required when working with chemicals.
