Overview:
The Customer Service Representative position is an office role that starts at $16 an hour and works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. This position is NOT a remote role.
This is a full-time position, eligible for an attractive benefit package on the 90th day of employment. Benefits include 401k with company match and full medical, dental, and vision insurance package.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Enter all customer orders taken via phone, fax, email, or in person with 100% accuracy and promptness
- Provide customers with order information such as pricing, availability, and product details
- Make requested changes to orders per customer requests
- Offer appropriate product suggestions and advice to customers, when applicable
- Provide Live Chat support, such as immediately accepting incoming chat notifications and promptly replying to requests with professionalism, proper grammar, courtesy, and accuracy
- Promptly and accurately answer all customer inquiries regarding back orders and other concerns
- Escalate customer issue when appropriate
- Record details of critical inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken on customer accounts
- Maintain a positive attitude, even when faced with criticism or frustration
Education and/or Experience
- Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Experience: Two or more years in a customer facing role
- Experience: One year or more of computer based billing system or point of sales system
Other Skills
- Ability to work accurately and effectively under tight deadlines
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Above average attention to detail
- Ability to work occasional overtime, including the weekend
- Ability to follow Checker's policies and procedures

Working conditions
Weekly schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, mouse, screen and office equipment.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required sit for extended periods of time, as well as speak clearly on the phones for up to eight (8) hours a day. Regularly use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls. The employee is continuously required to speak English clearly so listeners can understand, understand the speech of another person, focus on one source of sound and ignore others, and hear sounds and recognize the difference between them. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and complete manual work such as folding paper, filling envelopes, applying stickers and labels, sorting items, and assembling gift bags. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
