Composting and Recycling Division

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two – Year experience with Customer Service and/or register systems

*Purpose of the Job*

• To control and record: sales, receiving, inventory levels at the composting and recycling facilities. Assist customers with purchasing products and services. Recordkeeping and reporting. Learning POS register system with staff members. Answering emails, phone calls and speaking to customers. Coordinating and dispatching deliveries.

*Essential Functions and Responsibilities*

• (40%) Recordkeeping, reporting and register work
• (25%) Customer inquires - emails, phone calls and speaking to customers
• (15%) Assisting customers in products, services and purchases
• (10%) Scheduling of deliveries
• (5%) Re-ordering inventory
• (5%) Housekeeping of office

Knowledge and Skills

• Microsoft Office Skills – required
• Customer and Vendor Service Skills – required

Job Types: Full-Time, Part-Time and/or Seasonal

Work Environment: 70% Indoor/30% Outdoor, Working in the elements is a MUST (hot, cold, rain, snow, wind, dust/dirt, etc.)

Pay: $10.50 - $15.00 per hour
