Job Summary:

Chalfant Manufacturing Company (www.chalfant-obo.com) has been in business for over 75 years making and designing quality cable trays for electrical wiring. We are a subsidiary of OBO-Bettermann (www.obo.global) that has over 4000 employees and operates in over 60 countries. We are growing and looking for a Customer Service Representativewith 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to join our team.

Our CSRs help resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint to determine the cause of the problem. They then work with the sales team to find the best solution to solve the problem, expedite the correction or adjustment, and follow up to ensure resolution and very happy customers

The Customer Service Representative is a key part of the sales team.
Responsibilities:

• Order entry, status updates, advance shipping notifications, and expedite requests
• Issue Return Material Authorizations
• Assist with shipment issues such as lost, damaged, or delayed shipments
• Generate customer quotations as required
• Respond to sales partner and customer inquiries to provide timely resolution
• Complete other tasks as assigned

• SAGE 500 and/or Salesforce are a plus but not required
• 1+ years of Customer Service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
