Full Job Description:
DiBara Masonry is seeking a detail-oriented Construction Bookkeeper with HR experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing, accounts payable/receivable, job costing systems, and payroll, while also overseeing HR-related tasks such as employee onboarding and scheduling team events.
Who we are:
At DiBara Masonry, we are proud to be a fourth-generation company. Michael Larusso and Matteo DiBara emigrated to the United States from Italy in the early 1900s, leveraging the one skill they had to support themselves: masonry. Each of them built his new home from brick and stone, with the help of the neighboring community and from the ground up.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage billing, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and CPA experience
- Overhaul billing AR/AP processes to enhance efficiency
- Implement and oversee job costing systems for accurate project tracking
- Shop for insurance policies to secure the best values for the company
- Handle fuel cards, project invoices, and payroll processing
- Conduct new employee onboarding and manage employee reviews
- Foster a positive company culture by organizing team events and acknowledging birthdays
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Highly organized and process-oriented individual
- Previous experience as a construction office bookkeeper
- Proficiency in software applications related to accounting, CRM, construction, taxes, and payroll.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
