Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Secretary/Bookkeeper to assist with administrative and financial tasks on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in secretarial duties and bookkeeping, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
- Support bookkeeping activities, including invoice processing, payroll, and financial record keeping
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
- Manage and maintain office files, both physical and electronic
- Ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office
Work Hours:
- Mon- Thursday: 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM
- Saturday : 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills Required:
- Proficient in using QuickBooks.
- Proficient in using Windows.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Previous experience in customer service or receptionist roles is preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Windows)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
