Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Payable and Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will manage the company’s bills and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner. Responsibilities will include inputting transactions into QuickBooks Desktop. Update the appropriate job files with the bills. Other tasks that the office may need. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, computer savvy, and has a strong understanding of accounting, payments, and budgets. This is a in person job position.

Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounts Payable and Office Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will manage the company’s bills and ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner. Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Enter bills into Quickbooks Desktop
- Scan bills and update the project specific Dropbox files
- Update accounting spreadsheets into Smartsheet's
- Maintaining accurate general ledger journal entries
- Prepare AP Ledgers
- Input credit card transactions
- Create weekly AP reports
- Collaborating with other departments to handle account issues
- Preparing expense reports
- Update vehicle, insurance and other files as needed.
- Other task as needed
- Previous experience in Construction Accounting
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software
- Quickbooks Desktop advanced experience
- Knowledge of Dropbox and Smartsheets is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and research skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
