Group Five Pipe Saudi is a one of the Group company - producing large diameter steel welded water, oil, and gas transmission pipes (18”- 132” dia) with the annual capacity of 500,000 metric tons of pipe production.

Looking for the ideal candidate who will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and primary goal will be to increase organization's productivity, efficiency, and profitability. Reporting to CEO on key operational insights and to the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities:

Developing and accomplishing goals and strategic plans established by Board members and executives of the Company and present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Approving company policies, implementing company policy decisions, and executing board directives.

Implement best-practice manufacturing methods and introduce new practices and systems to improve productivity, yield and quality with steel pipe manufacturing.

Set and Manage production budgets

Estimate production costs and cost control programs

Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives

Reviewing and approving the Quality Manual and amendments.

Chairing management review meetings and related business/operations meetings

Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures

Approval of submitted tender prices and contract purchase orders.

Approving the purchasing of bulk services and raw materials that meet product requirements.

Collaborating with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization.

Overseeing the process for ensuring the proper work plans are in place, scheduling work, staffing and compliance in the execution of projects including resolution between departments

Providing guidelines regarding policies, salary administration, and employee benefits including performance appraisal process.

Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments

Qualifications:

Engineering degree (Mechanical or Industry related) with minimum 15 years' of executive experience as a Chief Operating Officer or similar roles in spiral weld pipes (API 5L) mill or related industry

Strategic planning and business development experience

Experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques

Knowledge of raw materials and of quality systems and standards

Acquaintance of health and safety standards and compliance and process improvement techniques

Knowledge of machines/tools and engineering/technology principles and practices

Skilled in business, finance and management principles including human resource strategies

Strong leadership and organizational skills

The role based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

You will be provided with visa assistance, company accommodation, transport, medical insurance, annually 45 (30+15) calendar days paid leave/vacation and two annual return flights tickets and there is end of service benefit including two bonus salary/annually.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $180,000.00 per year
