Summary: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) - US Operations is a strategic leadership role
accountable for overseeing and integrating all acquired entities within the United States. This key
position will have P&L responsibility for the US operations, ensuring alignment with the company
Aerospace's culture and driving profitable growth to the entities.
Responsibilities:
1. Integration Strategy:
o Develop and implement strategies for the seamless integration of acquired entities
into our culture and operational framework.
o Ensure effective collaboration and communication across all US entities, fostering
a cohesive and unified organizational culture.
2. P&L Management with Strong Manufacturing Focus:
o Take ownership of the P&L for all US operations, emphasizing a deep
understanding and experience in manufacturing operations management.
o Demonstrate hands-on expertise in overseeing manufacturing processes,
particularly in machine shop and precision fabrication environments.
o Drives strong revenue and bottom-line growth through strong sales, efficient and
high performance execution.
3. Organic and Inorganic Growth:
o Identify opportunities for both organic and inorganic growth within the US
market.
o Collaborate with the Mergers and Acquisitions team to evaluate potential
acquisitions and drive the successful integration of acquired companies.
4. Cultural Alignment:
o Champion and reinforce the culture within the US operations,
ensuring a consistent and harmonized approach across all entities.
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that aligns with the broader
organizational values.
5. Strategic Planning:
o Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the US operations,
aligning with overall company objectives.
o Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership for strategic
decision-making.
6. Stakeholder Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and
external, to support the growth and success of US operations.
o Effectively communicate with executive leadership, presenting updates,
performance metrics, and strategic plans.
7. Manufacturing Operations Management:
o Demonstrate a strong background in manufacturing operations management,
including both high-medium volume and low mix and low volume and high mix
manufacturing processes.
o Implement industry-leading production and quality systems, ensuring efficiency
and excellence.
8. Regulatory Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, labor laws, and industry
standards in the US market.
o Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and uphold ethical
business practices.
Qualifications:
1. Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; MBA is a plus.
2. Experience:
o Minimum of 15+ years of leadership experience with a focus on manufacturing
operations, P&L management.
o Proven track record of successfully integrating and managing diverse entities
within a larger organizational framework.
3. Leadership Skills:
o Exceptional leadership and managerial acumen with a demonstrated ability to
drive organizational change and cultural alignment.
o Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
o Deep-seated commitment to achieving excellence and perpetuating continuous
improvement.
o Strong knowledge in application of technology to maximize productivity and
efficiency
o Strong practitioner of setting operational governance to achieve On-Time Deliver,
Quality and Cost
o Has strong connect with industry and is well networked with decision makers
across customer industries
4. Communication:
o Outstanding communication skills, both internally and externally, with the ability
to articulate complex ideas and strategies.

growth.

6. Regulatory Knowledge:
o Knowledge of labor laws, environmental regulations, and industry-specific
compliance requirements in the US.
