Job Description
Client is looking for a motivated professional to join our core client development team as a Client Development Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the market-leading Intellectual Property Department and IP Litigation Practice in their Business Development efforts. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with pitches and RFPs, conducting research, managing legal directory submissions, experience management, overseeing marketing communications and collateral, coordinating sponsorships, and organizing both in-person and virtual events, among other Business Development activities.
A successful Client Development Specialist will be eager to gain a deep understanding of the services offered by these practices and the notable clients and dynamic industries they serve. Importantly, you will also contribute to the strategic initiatives of the broader Client Development Department and collaborate with experienced professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pitches and RFPs to secure new business opportunities.
- Conduct research to gather relevant market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Draft and manage legal directory submissions to enhance the firm's reputation.
- Maintain and update experience records for the Intellectual Property Department and IP Litigation Practice.
- Manage marketing communications and collateral to promote the firm's services.
- Coordinate sponsorship arrangements to strengthen the firm's presence in key events.
- Play an active role in organizing in-person and virtual events.
- Contribute to various other Business Development activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional services environment, preferably with a law firm, in a marketing or client development role is required.
