Brew Crew Opportunity
Under the Director of Sales, Beyond The Café, the Business Development Manager, Grocery, Mass & Club, Beyond The Cafe (BDM) is responsible for new Business Development, managing existing customers, managing our merchandising partners, and working directly with distribution partners across all Grocery, Mass, and Club retail channels.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage independent key regional accounts (local chains with <100 locations), working with them and our sales partners (brokers, distributors) to achieve annual sales targets.
- Work with assigned key accounts to develop and execute annual trade plans and improve on-shelf presence (location, facings, in-stock, etc).
- Develop, maintain, and close a list of new target accounts explaining features and benefits and utilizing persuasive sales techniques.
- Oversee our 3rd party merchandise partner, develop merchandising programs, and procure merchandise support items to drive incremental opportunities, incremental displays, shelf improvements, and other points of disruption across all grocery/mass accounts.
- Lead our distributor partners (UNFI, KEHE, etc) and grow sales through joint account calls, aligned trade programming, and managing our trade show participation.
- Build sales presentations and reports to share both internally and with customers that will provide an action-oriented response.
- Work with the cross-functional team to establish and implement successful customer programs to profitably increase product availability and points of distribution.
- Support the execution and management of budgets, sales expense, T&E, and reporting.
Your Ingredients
Qualifications:
- 3 years CPG Account management experience
- 3 years of successful sales achievements at the regional level.
- Experience working with distributors that have both national and regional coverage.
- Prior experience working in a high growth food and/or beverage sales environment.
- Strong influencing skills and superior selling and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Reliable method of transportation
Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Able to set and meet multiple and simultaneous deadlines.
- Extremely organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and deal with a wide range of people.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use reports and syndicated data to achieve goals and objectives.
- Willing to travel up to 60%.
- Strong computer skills – specifically knowledge in Microsoft Office programs and HubSpot.

This is a remote (plus) position: Remote role based in Los Angeles. Required to be in the Los Angeles office 1-2 times per month and as needed (requirement subject to change).
