Bookkeeper

Starting pay: $50k-$55k per year

Shunk Group, Inc. is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join our local franchise group! The Bookkeeper will help support financial operations for multiple companies by performing accounting and payroll services. This position is perfect for a recent graduate in Accounting, Business, or Finance looking to gain a variety of real-world experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping using Xero accounting software and other integrated applications
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and reconciling accounts
• Researching and documenting accounting issues
• Compiling and analyzing financial reports

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of bookkeeping or accounting experience (previous internships may qualify)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills (not required)

• Public Accounting Experience
• Xero Certified
• Payroll Processing
