Job Description
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for all bookkeeping functions including: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and General Ledger. The Bookkeeper will also be responsible for the processing of invoices to quickbooks from Lightspeed dealer management system, as well as the preparation of quarterly financial reports and financial statements. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ORGANIZED and the ability to work independently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and process accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries for invoices received from customers in accordance with established procedures
- Prepare and process bank deposits
- Reconcile ledgers to ensure that all entries are accurate and properly recorded
- Prepare bank deposits, check requests, credit card applications, check requests, etc. for customers in accordance with established procedures
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including preparation of journal entries for month-end closing procedures are completed in accordance with established procedures
- Assist with month-end closing procedures including preparation of financial statements for month-end closing procedures are completed in accordance with established procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or supervisor
- Review accounts to ensure proper entry of entries related to accounts receivable and collection of payments from customers in accordance with established procedures

25-40HOURS PER WEEK. WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THE OWNERSHIP AND OFFICE MANAGEMENT. UPON HIRE...HOURS MAY VARY UP TO 25-40 HOURS WITH WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT UP TO DATE.
BANK RECONCILIATIONS OF ALL BANK ACCOUNTS, DEALERSHIP FLOOR PLANS, BANK LOANS, CREDIT CARD ACCOUNTS, PREPARE BOOKS TO BE PRESENTED YEARLY TO THE ACCOUNTANT WITH DEPRECIATION, ETC.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.04 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
