Position: Full-Time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant
Our family-owned and operated business, with over 40 years of experience, is in search of a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in QuickBooks and QuickBooks integrations. Candidate will oversee various financial tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, monthly account reconciliation, and credit card processing. Additionally, assistance with phone duties and scheduling may be required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of financial concepts and accounting software (Quick Books)
- Experience with budgeting, journal entries, and financial report writing
- 10-key typing skills with a high level of accuracy
Compensation:
- Starting salary: $16-19 per hour
