This position reports to Chief Operating Officer
The job responsibility includes but not limited to the following:
- Provide customer service for all Business and Consumer deposit requests
- Process deposits:
- Verify cash
- Examine checks for negotiability, verify endorsements, complete hold notices, and receive proper identification for cashback requests
- issue receipts of deposit
- Process withdrawal & check cashing requests: ▪ Receive proper identification
- Examine checks for negotiability, and verify endorsements
- Answer basic inquiries regarding products, interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies. Refer customers to the proper service area for when item cannot be resolved at the teller line
- Issue personal money orders and cashier’s checks
- Perform services for existing customers such as ordering checks, place stop payments, etc.
- Cross-sell bank products and services
- Receive and verify loan payments, process loan payments, scan loan payments to the loan department
- Scan Loan Statements to Loan Department and mail loan statements as instructed by loan staff
- Identify counterfeit currency and checks
- Understand and be aware of the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Policy and adhere to its guidelines within the Bank
- Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring that teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded. o Balance drawer daily, including batching of cashed checks
- Maintain appropriate currency logs
- Pick up mail, sort and distribute and log customer mail deposits in dual
- Provide backup coverage to other deposit operations staff when needed
- Special projects
- Provide first level in house IT support

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
