Duties:
- Assistant to the Property Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks and property management activities
- Maintain accurate and organized files for all property-related documents
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely completion and quality work
- Answer phone calls and emails professionally, providing excellent customer service and resolving tenant inquiries or issues
- Assist with facilities management, including scheduling and overseeing maintenance projects
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, and lease agreements
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance requests
- Support the Property Manager in marketing efforts, including upselling available units or amenities
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an administrative or property management role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of property management software is a plus
- Familiarity with lease agreements and legal requirements related to property management
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
