Role Objectives: The Assistant Project & Office Manager coordinates projects according to plans, scope, COG’s, labor, OH and profit targets. Assists with contracts / proposals and provides customer service. Orchestrate project planning, resources, scheduling, quality assurance, risk, financials, communication, and execution. Manages clients, sub-contractors, and assist with payroll, HR, and banking as needed. Leads PM meetings and works with field leaders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to travel to office, some job sites, and arrive on time
- Ensuring job site safety and working safely according to policy
- Maintains a positive image of the company through all interactions, both internal and external
- Assists with estimates for projects to plan and turns them into proposals
- Assists with sales and provides customer service to clients throughout the project
- Project manages all company projects to ensure profitable completion
- Provides materials needed for projects to team that places orders
- Provides blueprints and plans for projects as needed
- Enters employee schedule to ensure completion and profitability
- Ensures equipment and materials are at projects on-time through communication with team members
- Tracks PO’s, sub-contractors’ hours, change orders and purchases
- Completes other projects and special assignments as requested by the Estimator & PM, Office and Accounting Manager, COO and President
- Maintain company COG’s spreadsheet quarterly
- Can complete the following tasks with no assistance required and is able to teach others – estimates, proposals, project management, employee scheduling, change orders, make sales, and provide customer service.

- Ability to apply basic skills in QB’s, HR, payroll, and hiring
Education/Training
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED), three years or more related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
Professional Experience
- 1+ years of Assistant Project Management experience
