ABOUT YOU

Are you a tech-savvy go-getter who loves keeping people and systems organized? Do you naturally look for ways for an abundant, growing office to function more efficiently while making sure the small details are taken care of on time and with high levels of customer service? Are you comfortable managing multiple projects, and delegating assignments to others including the business owner—keeping her on track every step of the way? Do you like rolling up your sleeves and being part of a small but mighty team that works together to get things accomplished? Is no task too big (you know when to ask for help) or too small? 

ABOUT US

Are a growing bookkeeping and accounting firm with a LOT of moving parts. We are looking for a reliable Office Manager who can handle day-to-day administrative functions, organize and manage multiple projects with important deadlines, and can keep all other team members on task, and delivering work on time.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to vet new software systems and make recommendations to the owner

Learn how to use existing office system features, train staff on new and existing systems, troubleshoot questions and malfunctions, and liaise with product vendors as needed

Use, create, and provide checklists and ensure project deadlines are met by all staff

Handle busy calendars, and prioritize phone calls and emails

Delegate assignments based on the team’s existing workload and the capabilities of each team member

Clean up, and archive files and ensure the entire team is doing the same

Keep the owner constantly informed of scheduling priorities

Order and organize office forms and supplies, arrange for office meals and special events and keep the office tidy and running smoothly

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to coordinate on behalf of the business owner and all team members

Detail-oriented and able to catch errors before they happen.

Have a proven track record of managing a busy workplace and delegating assignments

Able to lift boxes up to 25 pounds

IT’S A PLUS IF

You have some bookkeeping/accounting knowledge/background

Microsoft Teams and/or Workspace

Be a strong team member who is comfortable sharing thoughts and ideas—and it helps if you like to dance!
