The Administrative Coordinator works independently to manage the day-to-day operations for the Office of the Dean in the Rutgers School of Business–Camden (RSBC). The Administrative Coordinator serves as the first level contact with the university community and interacts extensively with both internal and external stakeholders. Duties include organizing, executing, and coordinating office procedures and routines, as well as performing diversified and confidential record keeping and communication that require judgment in the resolution of routine administrative processing to support the RSBC.
The Administrative Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for major school-wide events and programs. More specifically, the Administrative Coordinator will coordinate the Dean’s Leadership Council; assist with faculty recruiting arrangements; facilitate major events for the school, such as the Eminent Business Leader, Eminent Scholar, Honors Ceremony, Graduation, Faculty Assemblies; and organize the Guest Professor and Executive-in-Residence Programs.
Duties also include the confidential, administrative, and general staff assistance in such matters as event logistics, travel arrangements, scheduling, research, basic web updates, report writing, the maintenance of student records, and management of office and program functions. As this position will be the “front line” to stakeholders visiting the school, the position requires excellent customer service skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Other duties as assigned by the Dean and the senior leadership team.
