Organ Transplants is seeking an Administrative Coordinator at CBMC, Livingston. This is a fully onsite, Per Diem, Day position.
Essential Job Functions
- Diversified confidential administrative/secretarial duties for Transplant Administrative staff
- Supports and assists pre-transplant clinical staff in day to day operations
- Serve as liaison/receptionist for patients and families
- Manages information and communication from referring dialysis units and physicians
- Coordinates aspects of the transplant referral process including patient intake, entering confidential patient information into database system, and scheduling evaluation appointments
- May assist SW staff with Patient Assistance Programs
- May assist Outreach Coordinator with Division programs and outreach initiatives
- Provides coverage to other areas of the Division as necessary
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
- Office/Administrative experience in medical setting preferred
- Ability to use a personal computer, calculator and standard office machines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Clerical perception, motor coordination and manual dexterity
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times
