About Us:
We are a Heavy Highway Contractor in Blue Bell, PA seeking a Full-time Administrative Assistant. We are a family run business and have been around for over 75 years. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and able to multi-task. Candidates for this position should be resourceful, a good problem solver and organized.
Responsibilities Include:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Develop and maintain a filing system – paper and electronic files
- Order office supplies
- Process workers comp, general liability and auto insurance claims
- Prepare weekly certified payroll reports
- Prepare annual OSHA reports
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Working knowledge of office equipment – printers, fax machines, copiers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of VISTA Software a plus
- Extremely organized and able to multi-task
- Professional phone demeanor
- Self-motivated, self-directed and capable of working independently
- High school diploma or equivalent plus Associates Degree required or 3-5 years of administrative experience
