A local leading general contractor is looking to add a Controller to their team!
Commercial Construction Controller Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years in construction accounting
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and processes
- Leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience in process improvement
- Understanding of construction law and liens
Commercial Construction Controller Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end, quarterly, and year-end closes
- Review financial statements for accuracy
- Direct financial operations and reporting
- Supervise accounting functions and controls
- Ensure tax compliance and advantageous filings
- Analyze work-in-progress and profitability
- Manage payroll, 401(k), and insurance programs
- Supervise PTO tracking
