Abernathy, Roeder, Boyd & Hullett, a prominent McKinney law firm, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support Administration by processing and maintaining accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. This individual will be responsible for monthly reconciliations, creating and maintaining excel spreadsheets, allocating, processing, and depositing daily payments, communication with clients and vendors, and other various support duties. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., overtime as needed.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, detailed oriented, able to prioritize, have a high level of communication and organizational skills, and possess a strong work ethic. Dependability, flexibility and the ability to adapt to last minute changes are critical traits.
The position requires at least three years’ experience and proficiency with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. Experience with additional software programs such as Tabs3 Software, Quicken, and iManage is a plus but not required. High School Diploma Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
