We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in administrative tasks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to various departments and ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Duties:
Human Resources
- Processing new employees
- Reporting new hires to State of TN
- Setting new hires up in EMR system
- Setting new hires up in payroll system
- Setting new hires up with IT
- Setting up benefits
- Ordering badges
- Processing termed employees
- Term in EMR system
- Term in payroll system
- Term benefits
- Completing employment verifications
- Processing birthday cards for employees
Marketing
- Scheduling lunches at OB offices
- Assembling/delivering expectant mom bags at OB offices
- Assembling/delivering newborn bags at Peds East offices
- Ordering marketing materials
- Organizing newborn seminars
- Attending marketing events on behalf of Peds East
Miscellaneous
- Credentialing existing physicians
- Renewing medical license
- Renewing DEA
- Updating/attesting CAQH
- Credentialing at Baptist and Methodist
- Physician schedules in EMR
- Setting up and modifying templates
- Employee payroll
- Scanning vendor and termed employee files
- Other duties as assigned by COO
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
