Administrative Assistant
Forget Me Not Candle is a Chattanooga, TN-based company that provides a wide range of products and services to the food service industry. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide support to our sales and marketing teams. The successful candidate will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Plan meetings and take minutes
- Maintain contact lists
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop filing systems, keep office organized and updated with current events
- Submit spreadsheets and other documents into databases
- Provide general support to visitors, guests, employees, etc.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients, provide information relevant to their enquiries.
Skills
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or office admin assistant; or working under the direction of a office manager, senior office admin assistant or senior office support person.
- Familiarity with office equipment including printers, scanners, fax machines etc.
- Understanding of how computers work and how to use internet-based applications (email programs, Microsoft Word, Excel etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with excellent phone etiquette.
Job Types: Part-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $11.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 per week
