DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR JOB DUTIES
The Administrative Assistant-Parks will provide customer service for the Wayne County Parks Division. The Administrative Assistant registers all programs offered in the Parks Division including shelter rentals and baseball diamonds. Registrations are entered in the RecPro reservations system for all walk-ins and telephone request. The Administrative Assistant will process requisitions, invoices, contract requests and Intergovernmental Agreements that have been approved by the Wayne County Commissions; maintain scheduling, correspondence and event calendars; prepare event or meeting materials such as flyers or invitations; assist in entering JD Edwards billing and maintaining excel spread sheets of approved freeze forms and approved contracts and perform other duties as assigned.
ELIGIBLE PERSONS
At the time of application, eligible persons must have:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year in administrative and customer service procedures and systems in an office setting.
