San Diego based Law Firm seeks someone who can wear many hats to join our team. We are seeking an individual with long-term, career-minded aspirations to work 40 hours per week, in person, in the office (not a remote position).
RESPONSIBILITIES: FILING/SCANNING
- Routing mail and paperwork on an hourly basis
- Scanning all paper that comes through the office
- Sorting and delivering incoming mail
- File management in a paperLESS office - you keep track of and put away all the firm's paperwork; everyone else only looks at it electronically
- Assist with opening and closing all matters for the entire office
- Creating labels and indexes
- Assist with maintaining the kitchen and office in a neat and orderly fashion
- Assisting with clearing out all files in an off-site location
- Other general administrative tasks will be assigned as needed
RESPONSIBILITIES: MARKETING
- Manage the firm's social media accounts: LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Update and maintain the firm's Website through WordPress
- Coordinate, register, and calendar events with AGC, ABC, and other associations for the attorney's
- Coordinate with Firm Administrator on all Holiday Marketing including Holiday Cards to clients, gifts delivered to clients, and office decorations.
- Coordinate with Firm Administrator and Committee to plan all internal firm events: Family Picnic, Potlucks, Holiday Party, Bar Passage Party, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous legal experience and/or paralegal certificate preferred, but not mandatory
- Friendly, professional personality
- Skilled proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Must be detail oriented and a quick learner
- Able to prioritize, ask questions, follow directions, and exercise good judgment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, but also team oriented
- Must be able to process a high volume of work and lift 20 pounds
